One of the biggest lessons I've had to learn quickly in being a business owner is how to make the most out of my time. At first -It felt like being 18 again, moving out of my parents' house with all the freedom in the world (lol, you know that feeling, right?). But like that famous quote says—With freedom comes with great responsibility (okay, I might’ve rephrased that a bit). I had to master discipline in ways I never imagined.

I quickly realized I wasn’t working just for today, I’m building for tomorrow. If I didn’t show up, no one would—and neither would the results. My years in corporate taught me how to manage projects, multi-task and hit milestones that were laid out for me. But in my own business, I had to create those goals and no one was paying me to achieve them.

What keeps me going is my passion—for my business, for the future I’m building, for my family, and for the legacy I want to leave behind. Every single day, I remind myself: if my calendar isn’t planned, if my time isn’t used efficiently, if I allow distractions, I won’t get where I want to be.

So now, i've adapted this mindset whole heartedly and wake up saying "let's run this day".
